These terms are written in plain language. No legal jargon. Read them. They matter. By using InCynq you agree to everything below.
1. Who we are
InCynq is a social platform for Second Life residents. We are not affiliated with Linden Lab or Second Life®. Second Life® is a registered trademark of Linden Research, Inc.
2. Who can use InCynq
You must have a valid Second Life account to register. Second Life requires users to be at least 16 years old — that minimum applies here too.
InCynq is not an adult content platform. Adult verification (18+) only unlocks the ability to see advertisements and listings for adult-rated Second Life locations and services. It does not permit explicit or sexual content anywhere on the platform.
3. Your account
Your SL avatar name is your identity on InCynq. You are responsible for keeping your InCynq password secure. InCynq will never ask for your Second Life password.
You may not impersonate other residents or brands. Fake accounts will be permanently removed.
Display names and bios must not contain offensive language, hate speech, or explicit content.
4. Profile pictures
Your profile picture is visible to all users across the entire platform regardless of maturity settings. For this reason, explicit, nude, or sexually suggestive content is strictly prohibited in profile pictures — without exception, regardless of your adult verification status.
Acceptable profile pictures include your SL avatar, a personal photo, or any image that complies with these terms. InCynq reserves the right to remove any profile picture that violates this policy and to suspend the account.
5. Content rules
You own what you post. By posting on InCynq you give us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.
InCynq is not an adult content platform. Explicit, nude, or sexually suggestive content is not permitted in posts under any circumstances, regardless of maturity verification status.
You may not post: hate speech, harassment, content that sexualises minors, spam, scam links, real life personal information of others, or content that violates Second Life's own community standards.
No SLurls or direct links in posts. Brands can include teleport links in paid advertisements only.
Any post containing explicit content will be removed immediately. First offence results in account suspension. There are no warnings for this — zero tolerance.
5a. Community Standards
InCynq is for everyone. We are committed to keeping this platform safe, welcoming, and free from hate in any form. The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban:
- Hate speech of any kind — including racism, antisemitism, Islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia, or discrimination based on nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, or disability.
- Extremist content — including far-right ideology, Nazi references, white supremacy, or any content that promotes, glorifies, or incites violence against any group of people.
- Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse of any individual or group.
- Threats of violence — explicit or implied.
- Content that promotes, glorifies, or facilitates self-harm or suicide.
- Misinformation intended to cause harm.
InCynq moderates content actively using automated checks and human review. Flagged content is reviewed promptly. We do not wait for reports — we look.
Child safety violations are treated separately under section 14 and carry the most serious consequences.
If you see something that violates these standards, report it immediately using the report button. We take every report seriously.
6. Adult content & maturity levels
InCynq uses the same three maturity levels as Second Life: General, Moderate, and Adult.
General and Moderate content is available to all verified members. Adult-rated advertisements and location listings are only visible to users who have enabled Adult in their maturity settings and hold valid SL adult verification.
Adult verification unlocks adult-rated SIM advertisements and location listings only. It does not permit explicit photos, posts, or profile content anywhere on the platform. This is absolute and non-negotiable.
7. Advertising
Ads must match the maturity level selected at creation. Advertising adult content to non-adult audiences is a serious breach and will result in immediate account suspension.
Ad pricing is in Linden Dollars (L$). Prices are set using a tiered model based on the total size of the InCynq community. As the community grows, advertising prices adjust automatically to the next tier. The current tier and pricing are always visible in the Advertise section of the app.

Prices shown are base rates for a single interest group. Targeting multiple groups applies a multiplier: 1 group = base price, 2 groups = 1.8×, 3 groups = 2.5×, 4 or more groups = 3× (capped). A 25% discount applies when Random Rotation is selected.
All L$ deposited to an InCynq wallet are non-refundable. Once credited, wallet balances cannot be reversed, transferred, or cashed out. Only top up what you intend to spend.
8. InCynq wallet
Every registered member receives a 100 L$ welcome credit upon account activation. This credit is non-transferable and has no cash value.
Members can top up their wallet by paying the IncynqPayments avatar inworld via ATM. Wallet credits are used for event boosting (members) and event boosting plus advertising plus optional paid features like the Dashboard Upgrade (brands).
All L$ deposited are non-refundable. InCynq is not responsible for payments made to the wrong avatar. Always verify you are paying IncynqPayments before sending L$.
Wallets of suspended or banned accounts will be frozen. No refunds will be issued for frozen wallet balances where the suspension is due to a breach of these terms.
9. Referral programme
Members can earn L$ by inviting friends to InCynq. You receive 10 L$ for each friend who signs up using your referral link and activates their account by tapping an InCynq terminal inworld.
You can earn rewards for up to 10 successful referrals per calendar month. The limit resets on the 1st of each month. You can share your referral link with unlimited people — the limit applies only to paid rewards, not invitations.
Referral rewards are credited directly to your InCynq wallet and can be used for event boosting or other platform services. Referral earnings are non-refundable and have no cash value.
Abuse of the referral system (creating fake accounts, automated sign-ups, or other fraudulent activity) will result in permanent account suspension with no refund of wallet balance.
10. Cynqified verification
The ⚡ Cynqified badge is awarded at InCynq's sole discretion after manual review. The 1,500 L$ application fee is non-refundable whether approved or rejected.
InCynq may revoke the Cynqified badge if a brand breaches these terms.
11. Brand activation
Brand accounts require a one-time activation fee of 3,500 L$, paid using an InCynq ATM inworld. This fee is credited to the brand wallet and is not refundable as cash.
Brand activation gives access to the full advertising suite, event boosting, the basic analytics dashboard, and Cynqified verification eligibility.
11a. Brand managers
Brand owners may invite one manager to assist with running their brand account. Managers can post content, create and boost events, place ads, and top up the brand wallet.
All spending by a manager — ads, event boosts, and any other L$ charges — is deducted from the brand owner's Brand Wallet, not the manager's personal wallet. The manager's own InCynq wallet is never charged.
Brand owners are responsible for all activity carried out by their managers. Managers may be removed at any time by the brand owner. A manager may also resign from a brand at any time.
12. Analytics & Dashboard
Every brand account automatically receives a free basic analytics dashboard showing how many people are seeing their posts, visiting their profile, and following them.
Analytics data is collected only for brand content. We do not track resident (member) posts or profiles. Self-views are excluded. You can read exactly what we collect, why, and for how long in our Privacy Policy.
Brands only ever see their own analytics — aggregate counts, top posts, and engagement metrics. The individual identities of viewers are never exposed to brands.
InCynq's official account has permanent free access to the full dashboard and is exempt from any billing or renewal cycle.
13. Dashboard Upgrade
Brands who want deeper insight into audience behaviour can subscribe to the Dashboard Upgrade for 500 L$ per month. This is optional — the free tier continues to work regardless.
- The upgrade unlocks engagement rates, view-through rates, peak viewing hours, best day analysis, 90-day extended stats, and full post rankings.
- The subscription auto-renews every 30 days, deducting 500 L$ from your brand wallet.
- You will be notified 7 days, 3 days, and on the day of each renewal.
- If your wallet has insufficient funds on renewal day, your subscription enters a 3-day grace period. Upgraded features pause but your analytics data is preserved. Top up and the subscription resumes automatically.
- If grace expires without payment, the subscription is marked expired. Your data is kept — you can resubscribe anytime.
- You can cancel anytime. Your upgrade remains active until the end of the current billing period — no prorated refunds.
- Every 500 L$ charge is non-refundable once paid, including accidental payments.
- Prices for the Dashboard Upgrade may change. We will give 30 days' notice before any change takes effect. Existing subscribers are charged the new rate from their next renewal.
14. Child safety
InCynq has a zero tolerance policy for any content that sexualises, endangers, or targets minors. This includes grooming behaviour, age-play of a sexual nature, and any attempt to isolate minors from trusted adults.
Any account found to be involved in such behaviour will be permanently banned immediately and reported to the relevant authorities. There are no warnings, no appeals, and no exceptions.
If you witness this behaviour, report it immediately using the report button on any post or profile.
15. Enforcement
We take safety seriously. Serious breaches (adult content shown to minors, harassment, fraud, explicit content): immediate suspension, wallet frozen.
Severe or repeat offences: permanent ban with no refund and, where required by law, report to relevant authorities including Linden Lab.
You have the right to appeal any suspension by contacting legal@incynq.net within 14 days of the suspension.
16. Privacy & GDPR
InCynq is operated from Ireland and complies with EU GDPR. We collect only the data needed to run the platform: your SL avatar name, email address, interests, content you choose to post, and — for brand accounts — engagement analytics on your own content (see section 12).
We do not sell your data. Ever. We do not show you ads based on your personal data — ads are matched to your chosen interest groups only.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account, or by contacting legal@incynq.net.

17. Changes to these terms
We'll give you 30 days' notice before any material changes to these terms. A notice will appear in your feed from InCynq Official. Continued use of InCynq after the notice period means you accept the updated terms.
